Growth.

"We need not to be let alone. We need to be really bothered once in a while. How long is it since you were really bothered? About something important, about something real?"

- Ray Bradbury

Diamonds are formed by being exposed to extreme temperature and very high pressure. Athlete's become superstars by subjecting their bodies to rigorous and challenging training routines. Doctors become doctor's by completing years upon years of classes that push the mind to the limit.

People become exceptional by facing hard times and choosing to react to them in a way that pushes their character and image of self.

Ray Bradbury was right. We need to be bugged. We need to be challenged. Our integrity and character need to pushed to their limit's every once and a while.

Over this last year, I have made a lot of poor decisions. I have made a lot of choices that will negatively effect me for the rest of my life. While I wish that I could change the past, I realize I can't and in turn, I am thankful for my circumstances and the character that extreme pressure and regret have produced in me.

I have fallen, but I have learned.
I made mistakes, but I have also made progress.
I have hurt people, but I have also been hurt and know how it feels.

I am thankful.
I am a better person.
I am more aware.

Thank you God. Thank you for never removing your hand from my life.

I will forever be in awe of you.

Love your son,

Adam.
