Lately, things have been on the up. Here are some of the highlights:

• I Got A Record Player!
  

The most exciting part about this is that the record player only cost me $16.09 after! Right after I bought the Player I went over to Lunchbox Records and bought and vinyl from "The Appleseed Cast". I am already tired of it though, so I am ready for another one. Maybe when I am in CA this week I can find a cool record store and buy another. (Between now and when i started writing this blog, i have purchased "Illinoise" on vinyl from Sufjan. I haven't had the chance to listen to it though. I need to buy some speakers. I can't always rely on the PA being available.)

• Played A Show At Summit

This show was totally awesome. Jacob and Seth ended up playing with me last minute ad a bunch of people came to see me who I didn't really even know! So needless to say, I was totally stoked. We all played "Come Thou Fount" together. I thought that it went really well.

• Started Recording Scratch Tracks With Jacob for the Album!

About a week and a half ago, Jacob and I got together and recorded three scratch tracks for my full length. The tracks were:

1. Wake Up
2. Paint
3. Darlin Like A Rose
